This Website Privacy and Use Statement sets out how Solarity Credit Union uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we request or you provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Solarity’s Privacy Policy for Children

We recognize the need to provide additional privacy protections for children who visit our site. The privacy of young visitors and other visitors to SolarityCU.org is one of our top concerns. As such, Solarity Credit Union has adopted the following privacy policy, which conforms to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of 1998. COPPA requires that we inform parents and legal guardians about how we collect, use and disclose personal information from children. The term “parent” below includes legal guardians.

Site traffic records. Solarity collects information on domain names and dates and times of visits to SolarityCU.org. This information, which includes NO personal identifiers, allows Solarity to record traffic and improve its navigation and content. Visitor information is NEVER sold, given or disclosed to third parties.

Cookies. Solarity does NOT require the use of per–session cookies. However, for visitors’ convenience in navigating the website, Solarity may still use temporary cookies, which are automatically erased after visitors close their web browsers. Cookie information is NEVER sold, given or disclosed to third parties.

Email. Solarity may use feedback information from visitors to respond to inquiries, comments or suggestions. Email information is NEVER sold, given or disclosed to third parties.

Personally Identifying Information. Personally identifying information is NEVER sold, given or disclosed to third parties.

Children Under Age 13. We recognize the particular importance of protecting privacy where children are involved. We are committed to protecting children's privacy on the Internet. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we ask that a parent or guardian contact us and we will delete the information about the child from our files.

Children Over Age 13. Children age 13 and over may enter in certain contests/sweepstakes through SolarityCU.org. At the time of entry, they will be asked for their name, address, email address and date of birth (to confirm age).

Upon the request of a user or a user’s parent or guardian, Solarity will delete all personally identifying information about that user from our files.

We may amend our Children’s Privacy Policy at any time. We will provide parents notice on SolarityCU.org of any material changes in the way we intend to collect, use and/or share kids’ personal information. Please note that, at all times, parents should update their personal information to provide us current email addresses. We will apply material changes in our Children’s Privacy Policy in conformance with applicable law, including any applicable provisions of COPPA that require parental consent.

Analytics, display advertising and interest-based advertising disclosure

Solarity may work with data providers to serve advertising to you through display media or other methods. These providers may use personal information that we have collected or that you have provided to locate you online, such as when you visit or log in to websites or mobile applications. This information may be linked to online identifiers or IP addresses assigned to you, and to demographic or interest-based data, in order to target you with relevant advertising, including about products or services.   • Solarity implements the following Google Analytics features based on Display Advertising: Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. We utilize these services to serve more relevant ad experiences across the web based on previous visits to our website.
  • We may use Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise online. Which means third-party vendors, including Google, may show our ads on sites across the Internet Solarity and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the AdWords & DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone’s past visits to our website.
  • We use data from Google’s Interest-based advertising or 3rd-party audience data (such as age, gender, and interests) with Google Analytics to serve more relevant ad experiences across the web – based on previous visits to our website.

How we use cookies
